About the role

We’re looking for a Sales Enablement Manager to build and lead our sales enablement function from the ground up. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where you’ll design, implement, and own the training and development infrastructure that supports our rapidly growing sales organization.

You’ll be responsible for creating comprehensive onboarding programs, developing sales playbooks, building training content, and establishing processes that enable our AEs, channel managers, and GTM teams to succeed. You’ll also lead regular training sessions, design review and coaching programs, and work closely with leadership to ensure the team is equipped with the right skills, content, and systems to hit our ambitious growth goals.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment and wants to have a direct impact on the trajectory of the company.

What you'll do
  • Build the Enablement Function: Design and launch Thatch’s first formal sales enablement program from the ground up.
  • Onboarding & Training: Develop onboarding programs and ongoing curriculum to ramp new hires quickly and deliver tailored training across GTM segments.

  • Coaching & Development: Create structured coaching programs, including role plays, performance reviews, and improvement plans.

  • Content & Process: Own training content strategy (playbooks, battlecards, resources) while building scalable processes and leveraging tools.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.

Background we're looking for
  • Experience & Background: 3–5+ years in sales enablement, GTM operations, or related roles; healthcare/insurance knowledge is a plus.
  • Startup DNA: Proven ability to build programs, processes, and content from scratch in a high-growth environment.

  • Ownership Mentality: Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable operating autonomously with limited structure.

  • Training & Communication: Skilled at creating engaging learning experiences with excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Tools & Systems: Proficient with Google Workspace, Salesforce, LMS platforms, and enablement systems.

Experience we’d be particularly excited about
  • Early stage startup experience, healthcare/insurance experience
What to expect

We interview rigorously based on integrity, talent, and drive; the trust we display in our teammates from day 1 is a reflection of the confidence we have in this process. We aim to evaluate the things you’ll be doing every day as best we can, and we move quickly. Here's what to expect:

  • 15 minute phone screen to talk through your background and interest in Thatch
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with the hiring manager to dive deeper into your experience and the role
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting to meet 4 members of the team
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with the hiring manager to work through a live case study
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with our founders to discuss your approach to culture and our operating principles
