Position Overview: 

Arctic Wolf is looking for a Technical Enablement Manager who will support the global sales functional through design, development and roll-out of technical sales enablement programs to ensure every customer understands and achieves the intended security outcome from Arctic Wolf. Working with our sales, channel, product marketing, product, and security services teams, this enablement role is critical in ensuring product and service delivery alignment with Arctic Wolf sales channels. It is responsible for the design and delivery of deep dive product training and technical certification paths to increase the confidence, knowledge base and sales acumen of the sales engineering team. 

It is important that the candidate is comfortable working at both a strategic and hands on level with a proven track record of successfully pivoting between the two when necessary. We are looking for a team player with excellent program management skills, deep technical knowledge, an understanding of the security market and experience developing, facilitating and delivering training opportunities to technical and pre-sales engineering teams. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design, compilation and deployment of a deep dive product and technical training program, and micro-learning sessions to deepen sales engineering understanding and delivery of service outcomes. Develop curriculum path, methodology and track comprehension and adoption of the content for internal and partner technical sales teams. 
  • Assess, develop and refresh annual deep dive product training curriculum with product management, technical writers, product marketing and security services teams.  
  • Support product launches by preparing and enabling the pre-sales engineering team to understand and position our solutions, platform, and service delivery models.  
  • Responsible for aspects of foundational and continuous learning programs for the pre-sales engineering teams, including but not limited to training content creation, scheduling and coordination, creation and deployment/delivery of on-demand courseware and instructor-led sales training. 
  • Collaborate with SMEs and competitive intelligence team to develop and review the technical landscape and architecture, competitive market and Arctic Wolf differentiators. 
  • Work closely with technical sales leadership to identify onboarding and ongoing training needs to drive technical proficiency. Develop progressive accreditation program to ensure sales engineering teams remain current on technology and security service delivery.  
  • Review, refresh and set standards and certification paths for short form and extended deep dive demo flows.   
  • Develop knowledge assessments and certification programs to measure and extend technical depth of pre-sales engineering team.  
  • Implement metrics to measure and assess the effectiveness of enablement to inform future program requirements. 
  • Support the implementation and rollout of online enablement platforms. 
  • Contribute to development of global sales training program.  
  • Responsible for tracking and analysis of courseware and sales enablement content usage. 
  • Administer sales enablement and learning management systems as necessary.  

Knowledge, Skill and Ability 

  • Extensive knowledge in Endpoint Detection and Response Technologies 
  • Extensive knowledge of technical sales enablement processes and best practices. Salesforce and LMS experience preferred.  
  • Prior experience in developing technical learning paths and curriculum (analysis, instructional design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation). Online instructional design experience a plus. 
  • Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies, sales process, and buyer’s journey alignment. 
  • Excellent ability to manage projects from concept to completion. 
  • Expert ability to plan and facilitate meetings. 
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and decision-making skills. 
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change. 
  • Highly-developed training, presentation and written communication skills. 

Background, Experience and Education 

  • 3-5 years of technical experience as a pre-sales engineer, solution architect or technical lead. Prior experience selling technology/B2B solutions required.  
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in computer science or technical related fields.  
  • Technical experience in Cybersecurity, Endpoint Detection and Response, Networking, Security, Identity Management, Cloud Services, and Windows/Linux/Mac a must. 
  • CISSP, GCIH, CISA or CISM certification(s) a plus.  
  • Value based sales methodology experience required.  
  • Passion for teaching and enabling others.
