About the Position

Bluefish is seeking a Director of Sales with a proven track record of enterprise SaaS sales in the marketing tech space. You will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, building relationships with C-suite executives, nurturing long-term partnerships, and delivering revenue growth across a portfolio of enterprise-level clients. To be successful in this role, you should be a versatile, full-stack professional with a deep understanding of enterprise brand sales at an early-stage company, with the ability to build a high-performing book of sales. You will play a key role in GTM planning and execution, collaborate closely with sales leadership, and help drive top-line revenue growth for Bluefish’s initial roster of AI products.  

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use your network to engage with prospective brand customers, owning and expanding customer relationships with the largest brands in the world.  

  • Rapidly deliver exceptional results, taking ownership of revenue targets and consistently demonstrating the ability to exceed ambitious goals. 

  • Develop and execute robust account strategies to align customer needs with our Bluefish solutions, ensuring strong partnerships and sustained revenue growth. 

  • Present and position our unique value proposition, demonstrating ROI and how our solutions address critical business challenges for enterprise customers. 

  • Drive the sales process end-to-end, including negotiation, contracting, and closing, ensuring milestones and quotas are consistently achieved. 

  • Maintain an accurate and dynamic sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities to ensure a steady stream of high-value customers. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise experience with complex sales cycles at high ACVs, ideally in martech

  • Proven track record achieving revenue goals and delivering exceptional results 

  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive business growth  

  • Familiarity with AI concepts and deep understanding of data concepts (e.g. CDP)  

  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, AI technologies, and their applications in the advertising, marketing, or enterprise solutions space. 

  • Superb communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities  

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment 

  • Be comfortable working in a small team

  • Ability to start as an individual contributor, with potential for future role expansion 

  • Willingness to travel
