About Us
At Simon, we firmly believe business success starts and ends with people. We’re scrappy problem solvers who care deeply about tackling big challenges with disruptive thinking, giving our customers the support they need, and investing in each other’s growth. We all do our best work when we’re surrounded by other friendly top performers who want to succeed together. When you trust your team, give them ownership, and build with heart, great things happen.
Simon Data was founded in 2015 by a team of successful serial entrepreneurs. Today, we’re more than a CDP—Simon is a complete solution that empowers marketers with the data, technology, and expert resources they need to stop guessing and start delivering what customers want.
Our revolutionary Simon AI puts 100x more data at marketers’ fingertips, helping them uncover their best audiences, launch higher-performing campaigns, and double their output without doubling the workload. That’s why leading brands like ASOS, Mattress Firm, and 1-800-Flowers trust Simon to power sustainable, high-performing customer marketing programs.
The Role
The marketing status quo isn’t cutting it anymore. Today’s teams need more than dashboards and guesswork — they need real outcomes. Simon Data delivers the industry’s first goal-based AI marketing workflow, translating business objectives directly into high-performing audience segments. Unlike generic AI solutions, our Agents work with your existing data today to deliver real results—no black box, no fluff.
We’re entering a new phase of growth — and with it, the opportunity to reimagine how we sell. As our Sales Manager ( Player/Coach), you won’t just manage a team or close deals. You’ll be on the front lines helping to build the sales process, refine our go-to-market motion, and shape how we bring this category-defining product to the world. If you’ve been looking for a chance to lead with impact and sell something that actually moves the needle—this is it.
What You’ll Do
-
Lead from the front. Manage a high-performing team of Account Executives while personally owning and closing strategic deals — setting the tone for what great looks like.
-
Build the machine. Help architect and evolve our sales process, from pipeline generation to forecasting — and everything in between.
Close complex deals. Navigate multi-threaded sales cycles with enterprise and mid-market buyers, aligning our solution to their biggest growth challenges. -
Coach like a pro. Develop your team through real-time feedback, deal strategy sessions, and ongoing skill development — pushing performance without sacrificing culture.
-
Make the product come alive. Guide customers through proofs of concept, connecting their goals to real outcomes using Simon’s platform.
Think like a founder. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape our GTM approach and tighten the feedback loop. -
Own the narrative. Build C-level relationships and bring clarity to how Simon delivers measurable value through better audiences.
-
Push the pace. Operate with urgency, iterate quickly, and never settle for "good enough" — this role is core to how we scale.
Who You Are
-
Proven closer with leadership chops. You’ve consistently crushed quota in B2B SaaS and have led or mentored sales teams — now you're ready to scale both your impact and your influence.
-
Player and coach mentality. You thrive in the dual role of leading a team and personally owning deals. You’re not above the grind — you love it.
-
Experience in complex, consultative sales. You’ve sold into marketing, data, or growth teams at mid-market or enterprise companies, ideally in MarTech, CDP, or cloud data spaces.
-
Natural builder. You’re energized by ambiguity and excited to help create the sales process, not just follow one.
-
Coach with high standards. You know how to develop talent, push for performance, and create a culture of accountability without burning people out.
-
Strong communicator and strategic thinker. You can break down complex ideas, negotiate with execs, and bring structure to chaos.
-
Fast learner, fast mover. You pick up product and market context quickly and act with urgency.
-
Tech-savvy and tool-fluent. You know your way around Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Slack, and whatever else helps you win.
-
Ready to travel when it counts. You’re down to meet clients or teammates face-to-face when it’ll move the needle.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
-
You’ll do work that matters. We're not just optimizing for clicks — we're helping brands create smarter, more human customer experiences powered by real, responsible AI.
-
You’ll help build a culture, not just a pipeline. At Simon, leadership isn’t about title — it’s about impact. You’ll be part of a team that values trust, transparency, and lifting each other up.
-
You’ll be part of a mission-driven team. We believe in using data and technology to empower—not replace—people. Our AI helps teams work smarter, not harder, and that principle is baked into how we operate.
You’ll grow with intention. We care deeply about personal and professional development. Whether you’re stepping into leadership or expanding your impact, we invest in your growth. -
You’ll work with good humans. We’re kind. We’re ambitious. We’re real. And we know that the best outcomes come from people who genuinely enjoy working together
