Job Description:

Sales Director, Advisory Sales for Datasite LLC, located in Charlotte, NC. Achieve and exceed annual sales target through proactive management of pipeline through managing existing accounts and prospecting/networking into new business. Build a clear strategy for each territory and clients that is aligned with our management team.  Prepare a weekly forecast and ensure sales activities are logged and reported in the Salesforce (CRM) for tracking of activity and touchpoints with clients. Collaborate with Marketing and Inside Sales teams to create external campaigns to ensure maximum exposure. Be well versed in the competitive landscape and how to position Datasite against other providers.  Build valuable relationship with investment banks, private equity groups, both existing and prospective clients. Present a value based selling approach with Datasite clients and offer solution advice based around multiple use cases and knowledge of capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Use market leading knowledge to influence clients and identify opportunities for collaboration.  Receive and manage client feedback, followed by providing feedback to Customer Service and Product Engineers. Manage invoicing discrepancies – being honest and candid with clients to demonstrate full transparency around invoice times. On occasion build solutions to appease clients, and business internally. Routinely speak with management on tracking towards forecast, to strategize how to achieve maximum revenue in territory. Identify, negotiate, and close cross-selling opportunities with sales experts in other teams around the globe.  Leverage global success from USA, LATAM, EMEA and APAC sales teams. Seek counsel with applicable colleagues for shared sales opportunities. Work hand in hand with management in order to keep all levels of the organization aware of these opportunities / situations, in order to surround the deal as best possible. Mentor junior team members by providing key direction and offering advice and guidance as required. Schedule and conduct bi-weekly touchpoints with management to go over best practices and key learnings. Demonstrate scenarios with business development representatives to sharpen necessary sales acumen when selling Datasite solutions to clients. Teach workflow processes and documentation practices to maintain consistency of reporting within the organization. Routinely connect with junior team members to ensure all support is available for them as they progress through development. Prepare financial forecasts and manage client documentation as needed.  Generate reporting and document touchpoints and negotiations with clients. Prepare monthly forecasts to share with management. Strategize how to increase revenue and raise quality of client interaction with management. Participate in training as necessary to master all new product updates, and innovations with teams internally.  Relocation assistance is not provided. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Communication, or a related business field and 2 years of sales experience as a sales representative, investment banking associate, or related occupation.

Must possess 2 years of experience with:

- presentation and client communication

- solutions selling and/or technology selling

- consultative sales process

- negotiating complex pricing agreements and contract terms

- knowledge of capital market and mergers and acquisitions

- selling to investment banks and/or private equity

Salary: $104,660/year
