Job Overview:
SundaySky is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help power our pipeline generation engine. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in building our pipeline by converting inbound leads and executing outbound outreach to engage high-potential prospects. You'll work closely with marketing and revenue teams to book qualified meetings that drive new business opportunities.

In this role, you will be a member of SundaySky’s growing marketing team, reporting to the Manager, Sales Development.
Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Meeting Generation
- Follow up with inbound leads in a timely and personalized manner to qualify interest and schedule discovery calls.
- Conduct outbound outreach (via email, LinkedIn, calls, video, and more) to targeted accounts using account-based and intent-driven tactics.
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of engaged prospects through multichannel cadences, ensuring consistency, persistence and follow-through.
- Research target accounts to personalize outreach and uncover relevant business needs or triggers
- Consistently hit or exceed activity and meeting-booked targets to contribute to revenue goals
Collaboration & Alignment
- Work closely with the Sales Development Manager to refine messaging, outreach tactics, and qualification criteria.
- Align with marketing colleagues on lead follow-up strategies across campaign channels (events, paid ads, website, etc.)
- Provide regular feedback on lead quality, messaging resonance, and engagement trends.
- Attend SundaySky-sponsored events and conferences as needed to network with attendees and attend general meetings on-site.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and effective follow-up on booked meetings
CRM Management & Reporting
- Maintain detailed activity records in Salesforce, tracking all outreach, touchpoints, and outcomes.
- Monitor and improve key metrics such as response rates, meetings booked, and lead-to-opportunity conversion.
- Own the accuracy of your Salesforce records, ensuring all activities and outcomes are logged, tracked, and visible to key stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or related roles.
- Persistence with a drive to make the most of every lead and potential business opportunity.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and social channels.
- Comfort using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft (or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales platforms.
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
- Keen interest in sales and business development tactics that drive engagement and stand out from the clutter.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable, with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Ideal candidates work in either the Eastern or Central Time regions of the U.S.
