Position/Job Description: The Sales Development Representative manages Husqvarna’s business relationship with a defined set of customers and prospective geography while achieving assigned financial and activity goals. As part of the Business Partner Team (BPT) candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, retaining and growing assigned business by positioning the Husqvarna full line of product solutions and providing great customer sentiment from current customers. BPT members primarily interact with telephone and remote technologies with customers and prospects, though occasionally may be required to travel outside the office in order to meet with customers or attend events.

What You Need to Know:

  • Manage a territory of accounts through value-added insights and development of strategic growth plans while maintaining measured, positive customer sentiment
  • Nurture and retain existing customers through outbound and inbound calls to select assigned North American independent dealers.
  • Apprise customers of Husqvarna programs and offerings, and manage all customer-impacting communications with assign accounts, maintaining CRM activity records
  • Achieve business growth goals by identifying, prioritizing, and closing on opportunities in assigned accounts and prospects
  • Collaboratively support other Husqvarna salespeople, sales channels, and associates as directed by management, specifically NA Dealer Regional and Territory Sales Managers. Special lead generation and other projects supporting the Omni Sales Organization and Channels.
  • Manage customers' satisfaction and service delivery standards by proactively monitoring service, anticipating potential problems, and resolving issues utilizing internal resources.
  • Assists with customers outside the assigned account base when required. This may include temporary assignment to open sales territories.
  • Develop expert knowledge in Husqvarna products and solutions, and maintain a continual focus on learning and development for self and external customers
  • Prioritize activities to optimize highest-value customer interactions, while meeting management expectations for activity goals and standards.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field, and two years of inside/outside sales experience or five plus years’ experience in inside/outside sales. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate internally and externally through a wide array of mediums to connect with existing and prospective customers
  • Experience in a customer facing role such as customer success, customer service, sales, or solution development.
  • Demonstrated success in a prior role demanding initiative, organizational skills, and performance-based productivity goals and multi-tasking with vast number of accounts
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software, as well as the ability to learn and master other in-house programs that track sales and customer relations · Experience working with CRM and other sales technology tools preferred and prefer face to face video and call interactions both internally and externally
