About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by connecting potential customers with our innovative health insurance solutions. As the first point of contact, you’ll combine your understanding of the sales process with your ability to build relationships and create meaningful connections. This is more than a sales job—it’s an opportunity to make a tangible impact by helping people access better, more affordable healthcare. 

What You’ll Do

  • Represent Sidecar Health’s mission and offerings, using comprehensive knowledge of our products to explain how we meet customer needs 
  • Generate leads and manage a robust pipeline of prospects by using tools like Salesforce, email, and cold calls 
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify new opportunities, qualify leads, and set up meetings or calls for sales executive 
  • Develop and refine lead-generation strategies by identifying best practices and contributing to our playbook. 
  • Build relationships with prospects through clear communication, consistent follow-ups, and excellent customer service 
  • Report on key metrics, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly results, while continuously working to exceed targets 

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years in sales or a similar role, with a history of meeting or exceeding lead-generation targets 
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage with prospects effectively 
  • Creative, problem-solving mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Strong desire to grow within the sales organization and take on increasing responsibility 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and proficiency in using digital tools for prospecting and outreach 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or health insurance industry (preferred but not required)
