As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will drive and manage prospecting and pipeline development efforts. Target markets initially include mid-market and enterprise accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role is a high-energy, driven professional who is looking to build a successful career in sales and is interested in working in a fast-paced, start-up environment. This individual will be responsible for identifying key account targets and contacts, researching leads drive proactive outreach (email, phone, social, etc.) and lead prospect meetings in order to qualify opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities:

·   Proactively identify ideal accounts and contacts within key targeted accounts

·      Identify industry pain points and opportunities in support of driving targeted outreach

·      Qualify opportunities and drive alignment between prospect requirements with MotiveMetrics solutions

·      Create leads and drive meetings with a mix of outreach (e.g. phone, email, social, trade shows, etc.)

·      Make 75 outbound contacts per day (cold-calling, emailing, social messaging, networking, etc.)

·      Meet a quota of scheduled meetings per week in order to fill pipeline for outbound sales team

·      Work with sales and marketing to drive follow-ups with leads and suspects

·      Support business development team with research, meeting prep, demos and presentations

·      Track leads, contacts and sales activities within CRM

·      Provide feedback loop across internal departments to help ensure ongoing alignment with market needs

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree

·      1+ years of inside sales experience working with medium-to-large businesses

·      Strong hunter who is able to prospect aggressively for new targets

·      High-energy and tenacious with a focus on being consultative for prospects

·      Ability to meet weekly activity metrics

·      Highly collaborative approach with ability to work across internal departments

·      Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail

·      Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

·      Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and other basic computing skills
