This team is the lifeblood for facilitating sales at Bombora.  As a Sales Development Representative, you will often be the first human a customer speaks to during their journey with Bombora, and you are a driver for major growth at a company that is the undisputed leader in the exploding B2B Intent data category.

This is a hybrid role of INBOUND lead follow-up as well as OUTBOUND sales efforts, and you will be paired with our Account Executives and their Named Accounts to pursue new sales opportunities.  Ideally you'll be able to come into our NYC office 2 days a week (working remotely the other days is fine). 

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for the first point of engagement on outbound and inbound sales efforts, and passing qualified potential leads to sales directors for development into opportunities.

As a Bombora Sales Development Representative, your ultimate duty is to drive meetings and conversations, face to face or via Zoom, for sales directors.

You will…..

  • Respond to 100% of inbound contact or demo requests within minutes when prospects engage on Bombora.com
  • Reach out to prospects that engage with relevant Bombora content or tools (like Company Surge Alerts), offering education and assistance
  • Qualify or disqualify prospect contacts based on available demographic data plus initial qualifying questions. Book appointments for relevant sales reps
  • Use Salesforce CRM and Outreach.io to perform outbound prospecting for target accounts and surging accounts with new and known contacts, via phone, email, social, etc to generate 10-15 meetings per week.
  • Communicate with senior to mid-level executives in Fortune 1000 companies. Initial/ongoing training and call guides will be provided, but will need to exhibit creativity and good judgment in communicating with such executives.
  • Be a good steward of data: enter and maintain all required data points in Salesforce.com
  • Communicate progress and feedback to sales and marketing leadership.

You have…

  • 1 - 2 years of Previous B2B Lead Development / Inside Sales experience
  • Prior experience in technology sales or digital advertising a plus
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities, especially sales leadership as a top performer (#1 quota-carrying rep, for example)
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Salesforce CRM, HubSpot CRM, or similar CRM databases
    • Outreach.io, SalesLoft, or similar sales engagement platforms
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • G Suite by Google Cloud (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Slack or similar B2B Chat tools
    • Zoom or similar video conference tools

Compensation Package

  • The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 with a variable commission target of $20,000. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
