The Sales Development Representative II is a key participant in the Sales department responsible for building new portfolios of business clients through merchant services and funding.


What you will do:

  • Experience selling Financial Services to small/large sized businesses
  • Assist and manage negotiation, presentation, and business development for your clients
  • Responsible for hitting key target metrics including revenue, volume, conversion %’s, monthly quotas etc.
  • Develop relationships with customers and generate new business through pro-active targeted outbound calling
  • Communicate with our trusted partners daily, while keeping Kapitus’ brand image top of mind
  • Consistently follow up on leads and maintain active pipeline daily
  • Research, analyze and provide background information on potential clients
  • Work in a team atmosphere by communicating with sales department and merchants in both written and verbal form
  • Track and manage upwards of 50 prospects at different stages of the sales cycle
  • Stay current with industry trends to understand market dynamic
  • Responsibilities are subject to change to best suit the needs and interests of the business

What we’re looking for:

  • Diploma required, college degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in IT, Fin-Tech, SaaS, and/or consultative sales with demonstrable experience delivering
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and desire to work in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Experience achieving metric and quality performance
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Effective at communicating clearly and adaptability
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism

  • Competitive Base Salary Range of $45,000 Kapitus is providing this as a good faith salary range to comply with applicable law. The applicant's final salary will depend on a number of factors including the applicant's geographic location, skills, and experience
