As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll play a pivotal role in establishing enduring relationships with potential customers and key decision-makers. Using strategic selling techniques, you'll champion Kainos Workday Adaptive Planning, showcasing its value proposition and guiding prospects through their buying journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and Opportunity Qualification: Independently engage prospects through various channels like outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn to identify and qualify potential opportunities.
  • Educating Prospects: Demonstrate and present Workday Adaptive Planning, addressing customer challenges and illustrating its benefits.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and nurture leads to cultivate them into sales opportunities, contributing to the expansion of Kainos' business.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Articulately represents Kainos and its offerings to prospects, positioning the company as a professional and industry-leading partner.
  • Building Trust: Utilize a consultative selling approach, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and creativity to understand customer needs and foster trust.
  • Meeting Targets: Exceed monthly and quarterly meetings and opportunity targets by developing a robust pipeline focused on net new business.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and account executives to execute demand generation strategies for identified strategic accounts within specific sectors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies and a keen understanding of customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to initiate early-stage pipeline development, nurture prospect accounts, and build strong relationships.
  • Prior experience in inside sales or sales development.
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for sales with a drive to learn and succeed.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a competitive environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and aligned with Kainos values.
  • Resilient with a growth mindset, open to learning from mistakes and receiving guidance.
  • Anticipate this being at least a 12–24 month position before being considered for promotions.

Desirable:

  • Experience in creating and executing demand generation campaigns using technology including ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Gong Engage
