Job Title: Sales Development Rep Sales Specialist

Location: Portland, OR

Department: AECO

As our Sales Development Rep Sales Specialist,  you will be responsible for supporting Sales Development Lead flow and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, as well as managing the Sales automation platform and fully leveraging its capabilities. This position plays a key role in supporting and developing opportunities for new business by filtering qualified leads to the Trimble sales development team.

What You Will Do:

This role requires self-motivation, focus and a tech savvy mind to succeed in a business-to-business environment with the use of internet/internal database resources to identify and profile new customers.You will work closely with Sales operations, Marketing Operations and the DX transition Team, along with Marketing AMB  and demand generation teams.  This role will implement programmatic and operational initiatives through Salesforce, LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Outreach.io, Software Connect, Software Advice, Drift and Gong.  

  • Receive all inbound calls, route to appropriate SDR and record notes for proper follow up, BANT qualify if possible

  • Monitor the SDR Email Inbox, route incoming messages to proper teams

  • Monitor the Trimble website chat system, answer any questions and set up meetings with the appropriate SDR as requests come in

  • Responsible for managing the Paid Lead programs. Develop industry and product knowledge to be able to identify ideal customer profiles and purchase leads. Manage the monthly budget and communicate with the system reps to increase lead generation

  • Monitor the raw lead queue, “mosh pit”, new product lead queues, update the missing information to ensure proper routing to SDR territories

  • Provide market feedback to the management team to optimize positioning of offerings

  • Cross reference various trade publications to further develop the sales and marketing database

  • Research potential new prospects using various resources, including the Internet, Linkedin, and Zoominfo

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper lead follow up and execution

  • Continually evaluate system, programs, processes and campaign results for improvements

  • Ensure the proper flow of data between Marketo and Salesforce and other Software systems

  • Plan, perform and recommend A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth

  • Promote best practices and data hygiene within out tech stack to effectively improve data cleanliness and management, including record merging, and capture, track leads, sales, list uploads, target segmentation, nurturing and touch cadences

  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing 

  • Promote best practices and data hygiene within the MarTech stack to effectively improve data cleanliness and management, including record merging, and capture, track leads, sales, list uploads, target segmentation, nurturing and touch cadences

  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing

  • Update/maintain SDR territory map for SDR/rep/director movement and changes

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a Sales or Marketing setting, with exposure to and awareness of automation experience

  • Understanding of Marketo and Salesforce capabilities, and willingness to improve your learning to mastery

  • Solid attention to detail, are well organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a positive attitude

  • Strong independent project management skills, and are able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to effectively interact with a wide-range of audiences in both written and verbal formats

  • A highly-curious nature and are excited to dive into potentially complex problems

  • A great sense of humor, because we are a high-performance team that has a great time exceeding our goals

What Skills & Experience You May Bring:

  • Experience with Salesforce, GONG, Outreach, Zoominfo, Seismic, Mindtickle, Linkedin Navigator, Google Suite

  • A background in the Construction Industry

  • Sales experience as an SDR, BDR, LDR or Account Executive/Rep Sales Rep

Target Compensation

$20 - $28 per hour

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
