Armstrong Transport Group (ATG) is looking for a Sales Commission Analyst that will be responsible for administering, analyzing, and accurately processing sales commission plans across the organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to ensure commission calculations are accurate, compliant, timely, and aligned with company compensation plans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large data sets in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Calculate, process, and audit monthly and quarterly sales commission payments in accordance with established compensation plans

  • Maintain and administer commission plans, including updates for new hires, promotions, and plan changes

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to ensure commission structures align with business objectives and policies

  • Validate commission data by reconciling sales activity, revenue, margins, and payouts

  • Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies and respond to commission-related inquiries from sales representatives and leadership

  • Prepare commission reports, summaries, and ad hoc analysis for leadership review

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and documentation standards

  • Support commission-related system updates, enhancements, and testing

  • Assist with forecasting, accruals, and budgeting related to sales compensation

  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within commission operations


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales commissions, compensation analysis, payroll, finance, or a related analytical role

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)

  • Experience working with large data sets and maintaining a high level of accuracy

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain commission calculations to non-finance stakeholders

  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential compensation data

  • Experience in transportation, logistics or 3PL environments strongly preferred
