Perform field and community-based sales to generate leads and convert customers for solar home system installations. Conduct outreach, demonstrations, and follow-ups; coordinate with installers; maintain sales pipeline and reporting; gather market feedback.
We’re seeking a Sales Associate to drive customer acquisition and sales of solar energy solutions across Delta State, with focus on Warri and Sapele.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical customer outreach and cold calls to generate new sales leads.
- Identify potential homes and businesses for solar home system installations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Deliver product demonstrations to individuals, groups, and communities.
- Follow up on leads to convert them into paying customers.
- Coordinate with installers and technicians for smooth service delivery.
- Maintain a structured customer pipeline across assigned locations.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with field and community-based sales
- Self-motivated, target-driven and ability to work independently
- Sales, customer acquisition, Lead generation and follow-up management
- Field sales / outdoor sales experience
- Relationship building and customer retention
- Basic reporting and sales tracking ability
- Team collaboration and coordination with field technicians
- Knowledge or interest in renewable energy (preferred)
