Job Summary
Job Description
- Identify, onboard, and develop new wholesalers to expand market reach.
- Build long-term, value-based relationships with wholesale partners.
- Support existing wholesalers to increase volume, improve product placement, and drive growth.
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis.
- Utilize CRM tools to track activity, manage leads, and report key metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment on revenue goals.
Travel & Territory Management:
- Travel up to 60% to visit wholesalers, attend meetings, and support regional growth.
- Efficiently manage travel schedules and budgets to maximize productivity.
Expense & Compliance Management:
- Maintain accurate records of travel and entertainment expenses.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within a wholesale or distribution environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Proficient in CRM and sales forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with a high level of autonomy.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with multi-regional or national wholesaler networks.
- Familiar with the HVACR industry
Total Comp Range: 120 - 150K DOE
Travel Requirement: Up to 60%
Location: Remote - Northeast USA Region (New York and Northeastern States)
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
