The Sales Account Executive at Unifize will manage the full sales cycle, identifying opportunities in the life sciences and manufacturing sectors, conducting demos, and maintaining client relationships.

At Unifize, we’re building the AI-native product suite for regulated manufacturing companies. Our platform is designed to unify Quality, Operations, and R&D in a single collaborative system.

Today, life sciences and other regulated manufacturers rely on a patchwork of disconnected tools, eg, QMS, DMS, PLM, MES, spreadsheets, and email, to manage their processes. This fragmentation slows down innovation, increases compliance risks, and forces teams to waste time manually connecting the dots.

Unifize changes that by bringing process, documentation, and communication together in one place. Whether it's managing CAPAs, resolving deviations, launching new products, or preparing for audits, Unifize enables teams to work faster with full traceability and audit readiness built in.

What makes Unifize different:

  • No-code configuration for rapid deployment and adaptation
  • Collaboration embedded in every record, not siloed in email or chat
  • Context-aware AI that suggests actions, detects risks, and enhances productivity
  • Flexible architecture that supports expansion across QMS, DMS, MES, PLM, CMMS, and more

We’re already working with leading companies in the life sciences and manufacturing sectors. Our customers start with one use case and consistently expand, with 100% net expansion to date.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive with one (or ideally both) of the following:

1. At least 2 years of experience as an AE selling QMS, DMS, PLM, MES etc or similar SaaS into regulated industries (life sciences or manufacturing), with ACVs between $50k–$250k and typical sales cycles of 6–9 months, or

2. Prior hands-on experience working in operations within a life sciences or manufacturing company, giving you a firsthand understanding of the challenges we help solve.

You should be comfortable with working in an early-stage company. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, owning the entire sales cycle from qualification through to close.

You will report directly to the CEO and play a significant role in shaping our sales process and strategy as we scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle: from discovery and demo through proposal, procurement, and close
  • Run highly consultative discovery calls to deeply understand quality, compliance, and operations workflows
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and how Unifize can add value.
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and clients.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for engaging with key segments.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles, from initial contact through negotiation and closing.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, with on-target earnings (OTE) between $120k and $150k, with a 6x new ARR quota when fully ramped.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and internal product development efforts.

Requirements:

  • One of the following (ideally both):
    • 2 years working as an AE Selling QMS / DMS solutions into regulated industries or similar SaaS with ACVs of $50k - $250k and sales cycles of 6-9 months, or
    • Working in operations at a life science or manufacturing company
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the life sciences and manufacturing industries, including key challenges and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like MasterControl, Greenlight Guru, Veeva, TrackWise, etc.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with significant on-target earnings (OTE) potential.
  • A dynamic and supportive work environment focused on innovation and growth.
  • Opportunity to work with a product at the cutting edge of the life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
  • Once fully ramped, enrollment in the ESOP plan will occur.

Unifize is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status
