WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Risk Placement Coordinator supports the department in all operational and administrative tasks that contribute to the successful placement of insurance policies. The individual in this role assists with marketing and placement activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with internal teams and external partners.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

  • Prepares and manages applications, summary forms, and broker of record (BOR) letters for carrier submission.
  • Obtains necessary information from Sales and Service teams and follows up with carriers to confirm receipt and address any additional requirements.
  • Supports marketing and placement activities by partnering with team members to prepare complete market submissions.
  • Gathers required documents (such as loss runs, supplemental applications, and financial statements), compiles quotes, and assists in proposal preparation for clients.
  • Provides carrier information to internal teams as needed (e.g., appetite guides, contact details).
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries as necessary.
  • Maintains accurate and complete documentation of policies, endorsements, and client information. Records this documentation and any updates in AMS and ImageRight to ensure compliance.
  • Handles administrative tasks related to policy renewals, such as updating marketing spreadsheets.
  • Stays informed on basic industry trends and carrier updates to support accurate submissions.
  • Adheres to legal and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry, ensuring all activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • Minimum 3 years of entry-level customer service or account management experience.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry practices and terminology preferred.
  • Experience with AMS and ImageRight systems preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and software.
  • Customer-focused, high integrity, excellent work ethic.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
