Position Title: Risk Detection Representative

Business Unit: Risk Management

Reports to: Varies by Assignment

Position Overview:

The Risk Detection Representative is critical in identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure the security and integrity of the bank's operations. The position is responsible for monitoring transactions to mitigate losses, detecting suspicious activities and adhering to regulatory requirements. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitors transaction and account activities to identify potential risks and suspicious behavior.

Conducts thorough review and analysis of alerts generated by internal monitoring systems and escalates findings to investigators or management as necessary. Ensures all documentation is accurate, timely and compliant with regulatory standards.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve identified risks promptly.

Conducts review of referrals in order to triage for case investigation by Risk Investigations team or distribution to applicable department for follow up.

Stays informed about regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to risk detection and prevention.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
