We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Registered Investment Advisor Operations Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage billing processes for investment advisory services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Maintain and update billing systems, ensuring all client information is current and compliant with regulatory standards

Collaborate with Advisors, Customer Service, and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies

Prepare and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding billing practices

Provide training and support to team members on billing processes and systems

Participate in special projects and initiatives as required to improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

2+ years of experience in billing, operations, or client service within the financial services industry, preferably in registered investment advisor firm

Understanding of investment products, services, and regulatory requirements

Proficiency in advisor billing software, particularly Orion and AdvicePay
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
