Overview:
The Revenue Operations Analyst Summer Hire will work to improve the accuracy and completeness of Salesforce data, enabling more reliable revenue tracking by opportunity, better alignment with quotas, and enhanced ACV-to-revenue conversion reporting.
Project Scope:
Project 1: Salesforce Data Quality Cleanup
- Review and clean Salesforce data for historical opportunities.
- Fix missing or incorrect opportunity details.
- Deliver a clean and usable dataset.
Project 2: ACV to Revenue Reporting Enhancement
- Audit the current ACV to Revenue Excel report used by the team.
- Improve the report structure to be more automated, scalable, and forecast-ready.
- Create a cleaner, easier-to-use version for monthly and quarterly reporting.
Your Skills:
- Comfortable with Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data cleaning and organizing)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication skills
- Interested in data, analytics, and business operations
Deliverables/Milestones:
Cleaned Salesforce Opportunity Dataset
- Reviewed and updated opportunity records
- Corrected missing key deal fields
Enhanced ACV to Revenue Excel Report
- Redesigned template with scalable structure
- Automated calculations and improved forecasting logic
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to improve reporting accuracy.
- Gain hands-on experience with SaaS revenue metrics like ACV and forecasting.
- Redesign and automate Excel-based reports for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and enrich data.
Location/Time Zone Preference: United States.
This is an hourly contract role intended for college students as a summer internship. The role will start in May and pays $20 per hour, 35 hours per week for approximately 2 months.
