What you'll be doing:
- Support the Revenue department to facilitate timely contract review and revenue implications in partnership with the Operations and Legal departments.
- Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Create and maintain revenue schedules in NetSuite.
- Analyze general ledger activity to identify and explain variances between budget and actuals as well as variances between given time periods.
- Supervise the Accounts Receivable Collections staff.
- Assisting with external audits and examinations, including international audits and tax treatment.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
- Identifying opportunities to automate current processes and implement effective controls to drive efficiency and streamline the payroll process.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Developing ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
- Performing other duties and special projects as requested by management.
What we look for in you:
- Required: 1 – 2 years of Revenue Accounting experience; 4 – 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (inclusive of ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition).
- Required: Microsoft Office, ERP (NetSuite a plus), and business systems experience.
- Required: Proficient Excel skills, with demonstrated knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, shortcuts.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.
