As our Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will be responsible for performing detailed, forensic analysis of hospital claims data to identify opportunities to improve hospital revenue and cash flow through claim pursuit and improved operations. Every day you will excel in the areas of underpayment identification and revenue recovery, managed care contracting, negotiation strategy and contract compliance and the implementation of gainsharing and other physician/hospital collaboration activities. To thrive you must be a motivated self-starter that is proficient in Microsoft Excel and be familiar with commercial and government healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
Here’s What You Can Expect:
- Review hospital-managed care contracts to determine expected reimbursement.
- Analyzing hospital claims data to identify contractual underpayments and billing errors.
- Pursuing underpayments with third-party payors via correspondence and phone calls.
- Working with hospital clients to obtain necessary information or data to pursue underpayments or correct billing errors.
- Running reports and queries in Microsoft Excel
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $43,888.00 - $70,631.44 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
