Role OverviewNasuni is seeking a hands-on Revenue Accounting Manager to own the end-to-end contract-to-cash process across our SaaS business. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, deal execution, and revenue operations—ensuring that contracts are structured, billed, and recognized accurately under ASC 606.
You’ll partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Finance to guide revenue treatment from contract inception through reporting. This is an ideal role for someone coming from Big 4 or a high-growth SaaS company who wants full ownership of a critical financial workflow while helping scale systems and processes.
Level & Scope Definition- Owns contract-to-cash across bookings, billing, revenue recognition, and ARR tracking
- Acts as the primary ASC 606 subject matter expert for SaaS revenue
- Influences deal structure and revenue treatment pre- and post-contract
- Balances hands-on execution with process improvement and cross-functional leadership
- Operates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving systems
- Own and manage the full contract-to-cash cycle, including bookings validation, billing, revenue recognition, and ARR/CARR reporting
- Interpret SaaS contracts and SOWs to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Partner with Sales and RevOps to review deal structures and align revenue treatment prior to contract execution
- Oversee billing operations for new, renewal, and expansion contracts
- Lead key components of the monthly close, including revenue, invoicing, reconciliations, and commissions alignment
- Perform account reconciliations and validate subscription data accuracy across systems
- Analyze revenue trends, identify leakage risks, and improve reporting accuracy
- Drive process improvements and support system implementations (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce)
- Leverage automation and AI tools to improve contract analysis, reconciliation workflows, and reporting efficiency
Must-Have
- 4–7 years of accounting experience with strong ASC 606 expertise
- Background in SaaS or subscription-based revenue models
- Experience reviewing contracts and determining revenue recognition treatment
- Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) experience
- Hands-on ownership of revenue processes (close, billing, reconciliations)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
Preferred
- CPA certification
- Experience partnering with Sales or Deal Desk on contract structuring
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Sage Intacct)
- Exposure to commissions accounting
Ideal
- Experience owning contract-to-cash in a high-growth SaaS company
- Experience improving or scaling revenue processes
- Exposure to automation or AI tools in accounting workflows
- 4–7 years total experience
- 2–4+ years of direct SaaS revenue accounting (ASC 606)
- Prior ownership of a revenue process or close component required
