What is the Opportunity?

As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue recognition practices. You'll blend your expertise in technical accounting with a sharp eye for process optimization, directly impacting our financial reporting and compliance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously refining our approach to revenue in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct technical accounting reviews for new product offerings and route-to-market programs, ensuring proper ASC 606 / US GAAP revenue recognition in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion RMCS).

  • Prepare and maintain revenue accounting memos and documentation for complex transactions.

  • Define, improve, and operationalize revenue accounting policies across teams and systems.

  • Partner with FP&A, Sales Finance, Product, and Marketing to provide technical accounting insights that drive accurate revenue and SaaS metrics.

  • Deliver training on revenue recognition rules and policies to Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, and Operations.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on US GAAP revenue developments, assessing impact and ensuring compliance.

  • Implement and monitor reviews of the revenue recognition process, addressing compliance actions.

  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • Support external audit requests related to revenue.

What You’ll Bring to Omnissa

  • Preferred background in a Big 4 accounting firm (consulting) or revenue accounting within a SaaS-based multinational company.

  • Active ACA or CPA designation with relevant industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Deep technical expertise in revenue accounting and ASC 606 application.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborative team player able to partner effectively with FP&A, Sales, Pricing, and Information Systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.

Travel Expectations: Per business need

The typical base salary range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,000 - $168,300 per year. This role may also be eligible for benefits and additional compensation, such as commission, bonuses, and equity.
