What is the Opportunity?
As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue recognition practices. You'll blend your expertise in technical accounting with a sharp eye for process optimization, directly impacting our financial reporting and compliance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously refining our approach to revenue in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
Conduct technical accounting reviews for new product offerings and route-to-market programs, ensuring proper ASC 606 / US GAAP revenue recognition in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion RMCS).
Prepare and maintain revenue accounting memos and documentation for complex transactions.
Define, improve, and operationalize revenue accounting policies across teams and systems.
Partner with FP&A, Sales Finance, Product, and Marketing to provide technical accounting insights that drive accurate revenue and SaaS metrics.
Deliver training on revenue recognition rules and policies to Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, and Operations.
Serve as subject matter expert on US GAAP revenue developments, assessing impact and ensuring compliance.
Implement and monitor reviews of the revenue recognition process, addressing compliance actions.
Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
Support external audit requests related to revenue.
What You’ll Bring to Omnissa
Preferred background in a Big 4 accounting firm (consulting) or revenue accounting within a SaaS-based multinational company.
Active ACA or CPA designation with relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
Deep technical expertise in revenue accounting and ASC 606 application.
Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Collaborative team player able to partner effectively with FP&A, Sales, Pricing, and Information Systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.

The typical base salary range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,000 - $168,300 per year. This role may also be eligible for benefits and additional compensation, such as commission, bonuses, and equity.
