Healthcare organizations are under more compliance pressure than ever, and most are managing it the wrong way: scattered tools, manual tracking, and fragmented records that leave teams exposed and exhausted. Compliance has become someone's second job, not a program anyone is proud to stand behind.

Compliancy Group exists to change that. We are the platform for healthcare compliance programs, consolidating every element of a complete program into one connected system, so organizations can simplify requirements, gain real visibility into where risk lives, operate with confidence, and be genuinely defensible when it matters most. We do not sell a tool and walk away. We build the program with you, combining purpose-built software, proprietary conformance scoring, and ongoing access to compliance advisors, until your organization has the structure, the evidence, and the expertise to lead compliance instead of just survive it. If you are the kind of person who wants to work on something that actually protects patients and providers, you are in the right place.

Keeping our most complex, highest-value clients engaged and successful is central to delivering on that promise. The Strategic Retention Specialist owns retention for our higher-tier accounts and our most sophisticated solutions, including Audit Manager and Compliance Manager, across the Compliancy Group and Healthicity portfolios, where the buyer and the champion often sit in the C-suite. This is a strategic, relationship-led role for someone who can hold a credible conversation with a CFO, General Counsel, or CEO about risk, value, and outcomes, and still run a disciplined, well-organized book of business. You will carry real portfolio volume, but the work is consultative rather than transactional: you protect revenue by understanding each client’s compliance program, anticipating risk early, and making the case for why Compliancy Group remains essential.

What you will do

  • Own retention and renewal outcomes for a portfolio of strategic, higher-value accounts, including clients on Audit Manager, Compliance Manager, and other advanced solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CFOs, Chief Legal and Compliance Officers, and CEOs) and translate the value of the compliance program into the language executives care about: risk reduction, defensibility, and return on investment.
  • Lead strategic account reviews and renewal conversations that connect product usage and program outcomes to real business impact, not feature checklists.
  • Proactively monitor account health across a meaningful book of business, identifying disengagement or risk signals early and acting well before a renewal is in jeopardy.
  • Navigate technically complex accounts, coordinating with Implementation, Solutions Engineering, and Product on integration-heavy deployments (such as HRIS, EHR, and claims-system connections) so clients realize full value.
  • Surface expansion and cross-sell signals within your accounts and partner with the appropriate sales owner to pursue them.
  • Partner closely with Finance to resolve escalations, billing, and payment issues quickly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Product to advocate for client needs and continuously improve the retention motion across the combined CX organization.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in Strategic Account Management, Customer Success, Renewals, or Client Retention, ideally managing higher-value or complex accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing C-suite and executive stakeholders (CFO, General Counsel, CEO, or equivalent).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage a substantial portfolio without letting anything slip. You bring structure and rigor to everything you touch.
  • A consultative communicator who moves fluidly between an executive strategy conversation and the operational detail of a technical implementation.
  • Experience in healthcare, compliance, or another regulated or technically complex industry is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with CRM and portfolio-management tools (HubSpot a plus) and with technically sophisticated products and integrations.
  • Experience in a subscription, SaaS, or recurring-revenue business model.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

How you work

  • You are methodical, precise, and process-driven. You would rather build the system once and run it flawlessly than improvise.
  • You are calm and credible in front of senior executives, and comfortable owning the hard conversations.
  • You balance strategic, high-trust relationship-building with the discipline to manage genuine volume.

What Compliancy Group offers

  • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus focused on customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Extensive onboarding and ongoing professional development on the platform, the compliance landscape, and the customer success motion.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and generous PTO.
  • A transparent, collaborative culture that takes customer impact seriously and invests in the people who deliver it.
