About the role

Swoop is seeking a Research Manager to conduct quantitative and qualitative research of patients and caregivers in the MyHealthTeam communities. This individual will report to the Senior Research Director and is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders in delivering actionable insights. Join a small, agile team that makes a big difference! 


What you'll do

  • Help bring to life the experiences of people living with chronic health conditions with the goal of improving outcomes.
  • Support the Sales Team with patient insights.
  • Manage qualitative analyses, including social listening.
  • Work alongside colleagues on the Sales and Alliance Management teams to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
  • Manage all phases of quantitative research, including questionnaire development, survey programming, and analysis.
  • Be a resource to surface insights (e.g., the patient journey to a diagnosis, symptoms, quality of life, and treatment experiences) to help identify obstacles and opportunities.

What you bring to the role:

  • You are naturally curious, empathetic, analytical, and strategic. 
  • You are skilled at creating, executing, and analyzing results to uncover actionable insights. 
  • You enjoy executing all phases of research, including developing and programming surveys, running analyses, and summarizing findings. 
  • You have an ability to bring insights to life and share results in a clear and meaningful way.   
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with many projects and deadlines. 
  • You are highly collaborative and have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five to eight years’ experience in consumer insights or market research, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or pharma
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (healthcare, pharma, social sciences, business, market research) or comparable relevant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft products and Google products
  • Experience with online survey platforms is required, statistical analyses a plus
  • Experience with generative AI a plus, along with excitement to learn and use generative AI models to help uncover insights
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in
