As part of Finance's Billing and Reporting team supporting OnStar Digital Services (ODS) function, you'll be a key member of the cross-functional team executing General Motors' Connected Vehicle and Subscribe strategies. The team defines, configures, tests, triages our global OnStar reporting solutions to support our numerous ODS stakeholders around the globe, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, and several others. We work diligently to ensure that quality data is provided to our stakeholders so that ODS can maximize its subscription revenue and EBIT opportunities in North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East and around the globe. The most recently supported projects include OnStar Guardian, Super Cruise, and the OnStar launches globally. What You'll Do
- Writes SQL reports for our global ODS Finance organizations across numerous operational and reporting systems
- Supports the delivery of Daily and Month-End and Year-End reports
- Configures and maintains automated reporting systems
- Performs proper technical and procedural controls to prevent systemic and human error during process execution
- Supports the Reporting Scrum team with defining tests for feature acceptance criteria
- Executes User Acceptance Testing for the financial reporting solutions and billing applications
- Continually innovates on existing business and system processes
- Supports ad-hoc analysis and provides special project reports, as needed, such as new business development data, tax/compliance audit reports, and production bug triages
- Supports the launch of new countries/regions into our reporting and billing ecosystems as they are launched
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Information Systems
- 2 to 4 years relevant experience
- SQL development and authoring experience required
- Experience with various reporting concepts (e.g. data warehousing, dashboarding) and managing their tools (e.g. Databricks, Cognos, Toad/SQL Developer, Hive) required
- Ability to think critically and methodically solve complex problems within a cross-functional team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to align with department and program initiatives
- Comfortable with both team-based project work as well as independent project management
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience creating reporting test plans and reconciliation processes preferred
- Zuora Cloud Billing, or other billing/accounting system experience a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
- Databricks experience a plus

- The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $105,700. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
