About the role

As a Rentals Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by managing a diverse range of events from start to finish. You’ll directly impact one of Zillow’s fastest-growing business lines, bringing new ideas for process improvement and automation. You Will Get To:
  • Oversee and manage approximately 100+ events per year, often handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event preparation, including registration, payment processing, logistics, and communication with stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary contact for the Rentals Sales Team, processing event requests and providing timely support.

  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reconciliation, including invoice and expense report processing.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to align events with business goals and brand standards.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within event operations.

  • Travel to events as needed (approximately once per month, subject to event calendar).

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $33.90 - $54.10 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $32.20 - $51.40 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate events, event management, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and responsiveness in delivering high-quality work.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of personality types, both internally and externally.

  • Analytical and resourceful problem-solver, comfortable adapting to shifting business needs.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and relevant event management technologies (e.g., Zuddl, Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau).

  • Willingness and ability to travel to events (approximately 25% of the time; actual frequency may fluctuate).
