Position Overview
Booker DiMaio is building a technical support team for a newly awarded Internal Revenue Service contract supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. We are seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer - Power Platform / Microsoft 365 to design, develop, deploy, and maintain low-code/no-code business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The position will focus on Power Apps and will support the development of business applications, workflow automation, and integrations across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related data platforms. The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into practical solutions while working within organizational security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Security / Eligibility Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access and successfully complete the required Moderate Risk background investigation and security screening process.
  • Background investigation and onboarding requirements will be initiated following selection.
  • Must successfully complete applicable IRS personnel-security requirements, including fingerprinting, security training, and related screening requirements.
  • IRS staff-like access is subject to applicable IRS eligibility and suitability requirements and must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated professional experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs or federal government customers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Power Apps applications.
  • Experience with both canvas and/or model-driven Power Apps.
  • Experience integrating Power Apps with Dataverse and/or SharePoint.
  • Experience with Power Automate and workflow automation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and requirements-analysis skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Develop both canvas and model-driven applications based on business and user requirements.
  • Build workflow and process automation using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 data sources.
  • Support role-based security and application access requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and develop practical technical solutions.
  • Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Follow agency governance, security, compliance, and data-management requirements.
