You’ll collaborate with sales, production, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective designs that meet our clients’ needs and exceed expectations.Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels using industry-leading software (Mitek)
- Creating optimized layouts for roof and floor trusses, walls, and other structural components
- Reviewing orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting sales and production teams with design expertise and troubleshooting
- Preparing reports and documentation as needed
- Continuously improving design processes and resource utilization
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial design
- Proficiency with Mitek software is a must
- Strong understanding of floor and roof systems, including beam and hanger specifications
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
