Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Release Delivery Lead for our Cyber team!
This is a hybrid position. The role will be placed in the city posted on the req.
There is no Visa sponsorship or Visa transfers with this position.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of enterprise-wide technology delivery-driving alignment, clarity, and momentum across teams. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders and internal partners to ensure seamless coordination of technical release management across diverse product areas. This project serves the Cyber leaders in reporting functions. You'll focus on leading technical implementation and deployment of emerging technologies supporting cyber-wide data platforms and delivery of data and insights through those platforms.
We are looking for a strong delivery candidate that can plan and facilitate product team alignment to stakeholder needs and product objectives. You can engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes. We are looking for a "been there done it" candidate that has been highly successful ensuring the transparency and clarity across teams in synchronizing release events.
Release Delivery Management and Execution
• Drive smooth and efficient releases of products & features across multiple teams and environments (through Release Scheduling, Release Status Reporting, and Release Communications)
• Support consistent adherence to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Compliance standards and Enterprise Change Management (ECM) efforts
• Drive release cadence and orchestration of releases to target dates
• Manage risks and impediments by identifying and leveraging appropriate escalation paths, owners, and resolution of next steps
• Ensure test planning, governance, and execution to deliver stable and high-quality releases to users
Coordinate work efforts that span teams and/or products
• Coordinate Tech Demand (i.e., Technology Cross-Business Change Inventory - TCI) backlog intake, exception processes, and alignment to target due dates
• Ensure appropriate communication, priority, and timely remediation of dependencies and blockers
• Collaborate with product partners to ensure a healthy and balanced backlog (i.e., Story, Task, Defect, Impediment, etc.)
• Partner with Product Manager and Product Technology Leader to facilitate, influence, and negotiate quarterly transformation objectives and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
Supporting coaching of product teams
• Ensure agile ceremony events (i.e., Scrum or Kanban) are adhering to playbook guidelines and best practice recommendations
• Promote modern engineering practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CICD) enablement, and frequent release on-demand practices
• Foster continuous learning and relentless improvement culture
• Ensure metrics are assessed, reviewed, and continuous improvement targets are defined on regular basis
• Coach and champion innovation, new ways of working, and experimentation through agile practices, processes, and behaviors
As needed, support product management to
• Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
• Act as key participant in large-scale planning
• Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
• Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
• Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
• Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Technology Delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to understand the architecture and impacts of work across multiple platforms
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity data platforms (1SDP, CARDB), Vulnerability data (Qualys, Prisma), ServiceNow Vulnerability Response modules (IVR/CVR), Inherent Risk/Residual Risk scoring, and/or metrics reporting
• Ability to articulate potential release collision points and critical dependencies across multiple product areas (or products)
• Experience making timely and fact-based recommendations while working in a fast-paced and results driven environment
• Facilitation skills - particularly within a software development environment leveraging understanding of architecture and platform constructs
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Agile tools, such as Jira and Confluence
• Demonstrated history to creating transparency and clarity across the products on the synchronization of release events, including but not limited to the iterative development of feature roadmap(s), to help the team recognize potential dependencies and conflicts
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
