In this role, you’ll manage a book of business composed of self-directed ultra-high-net-worth clients, each holding between $5–25 million in Vanguard assets. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional experiences through education, guidance, and tailored solutions — empowering clients to make informed decisions and achieve their long-term goals.

Core Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary point of contact for self-directed ultra-high-net-worth clients within your book of business, delivering a personalized, consistent, and high-touch experience.

2. Build trust and deepen client loyalty by anticipating needs and aligning solutions through education and guidance — helping clients achieve their long-term goals.

4. Support strategic planning for your book of business and contribute to growth initiatives and client retention efforts.

5. Foster strong relationships by connecting with clients through genuine curiosity, empathy, and a deep understanding of their financial aspirations.

6. Deliver exceptional client service by proactively addressing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

We’re looking for relationship-driven financial services professionals who are excited to grow, connect, and make a meaningful impact. If you bring the following, we’d love to review your application:

  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC), the SIE, Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 (or equivalent). Certain professional designations may be used in lieu of 65/66. These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
  • The SIE & Series 7 are required prior to starting with Vanguard. The Series 66 can be acquired upon starting.
  • A strong foundation in managing a book of business within financial services — ideally 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients (2+ years preferred).
  • A consultative mentality and a passion for guiding clients through financial services solutions.
  • Confidence in discussing topics like ETFs, mutual funds, legacy and estate planning, charitable giving, and other wealth management related conversations.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience that showcases your ability to learn and lead.

This role follows Vanguard’s hybrid working model — in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays, remote Mondays and Fridays — designed to support flexibility and collaboration.
