Relationship Executive - Partner Development

What does a successful Relationship Executive, Non-FI Partnership Development do at Fiserv?
As a Relationship Executive, your goal is to drive growth through up-selling, cross-selling, and direct selling initiatives. You will drive new Referral Partnerships with Non-Banks, as well as manage existing partnerships. You will collaborate with partners on go-to-market strategies to expand relationships and grow merchant portfolios. By uncovering tailored solutions, you'll ensure both business growth and partner satisfaction.
What you will do:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth for newly signed referral partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your assigned partner base, focusing on long-term value.
  • Present products and solutions that enhance the partner value proposition.
  • Conduct business reviews to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill partner needs and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain reporting and execute internal audits to ensure compliance and track success.
  • Regularly engage with partners to meet their needs and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with CMM and Enterprise internal teams to develop new referral agreements within existing client base
  • Own all aspects of partner management and new partner onboarding, from pitching the partnership and developing commercial terms to launching the referral partnership.

What you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience or military experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in a client facing role, preferably in the payments industry working with financial technology 

  • Proven track record of creating new partnerships within a corporate environment  

  • Evaluating potential partners, creating pipeline and pitching partner relationships 

  • Background in developing commercial terms and executing agreements 

  • Experience creating go to market strategies and bringing them to market 

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools 

  • Proven ability to identify industry trends and challenges, converting them into winning strategies 

What would be great to have:

  • Knowledge on Clover and SMB Payments solution space 

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously. 

  • Master's degree or higher  

    Travel required:

    • 20% Percentage/frequency of travel
