Lead and manage a sales team focused on Calix SmartMDU products, driving sales growth and customer success in the Broadband Service Provider market.

- Meet and exceed established sales goals.
- Manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team.
- Develop and drive territory, business and account planning.
- Ensure sales best practices are applied to support high velocity sales cycles, and sales performance.
- Create an environment where employees are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
- Manage ambiguity, build strong relationships, and empower others.
- Leverage sales leadership experience to coach, develop and motivate the team as they grow as sales professionals.
- Drive collaboration with regional sales resources to bring subject matter expertise, strategy and support for customer engagements.
- Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning within the team.
- Attract, retain, and grow top talent to support current and future business needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales management experience with specific focus on cloud enabled solutions and experience taking new products to market.
- Track record of leading teams who over-achieve quota
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO/CMO/CPO level.
- 5+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales or pre-sales and account management experience.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management.
- Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative both internally and externally.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and able to travel internationally when necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into Telecommunications industries, specifically the MDU space
- Experience selling into Solution Provider customers
- Value Selling experience, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred.
- Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Business, Commerce, or STEAM strongly preferred.
The on-target earnings for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
