What is The Role

Elastic’s Professional Services team works across every technology and system to deliver solutions for our customers. As a Regional Services Leader at Elastic, you will lead the Americas West Enterprise team of Services Leaders and Individual contributors within a Theater responsible for that specific Services business overall. Our customers include Fortune 100 companies, startups, government entities, and nonprofits researching some of the world's most interesting and complex search, observability and security problems, and our services team assists our customers in the use of our products towards these efforts.

This is a customer-facing role, responsible for generating new business in the West Americas Enterprise region, meeting financial targets with accountability/reporting for overall Team management, Sales alignment, Services Delivery, Forecasting, and building positive relationships both within Elastic, with our customers and partners. You will have the opportunity to work with a tremendous, cross-functional team of services professionals, engineers, and salespeople while wearing many hats throughout your time at Elastic.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Complete Elastic onboarding and become an expert in Elastic Services methodologies and practices
  • Responsible for delivery of professional services and development of new customer projects in the Americas Enterprise region
  • Overseeing professional services management duties including hiring, team leadership, project scoping, P&L margin, and reporting
  • Partner and liaise closely with the Elastic sales, customer success, channels & alliances, support, finance, legal, and engineering teams while assessing risks, questions, or concerns
  • Accountability for hitting Services bookings and revenue targets within the Amer Enterprise regional business
  • Demonstrating strong customer-facing communications skills such as meeting presentation (video/audio conferencing and in-person), customer advocacy, partner development, and relationship building
  • Excelling at consulting workflow including financial planning, business, and legal negotiations, project oversight, and significant multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with high-quality expectations
  • Leading a highly distributed Services team and partners, working with customers to deliver business outcomes
  • Innovating, presenting, mentoring, and documenting on consulting methodology and process
  • Contribute to enhancing our delivery methodology, services practice, and industry Point of Views
  • Utilizing strong organizational and analytical skills for managing a Professional Services Automation ("PSA") application, meeting business and utilization targets, and calendar management
What You Bring
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in relevant professional services, pre-sales, or software development functions
  • Hands-on experience managing a dynamic group of Services Leaders and individual contributors
  • Proven experience supporting different levels of customers from high velocity to Enterprise
  • Experience executing on Services deliverables pertaining to revenue, quotas, and customer retention metrics
  • Ability to excel at working directly with customers to gather, prioritize, plan and execute solutions to customer business requirements as it relates to technology
  • Ability to focus on people management initiatives related to career pathing/promotions, hiring/recruitment, change management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the technology domain of search, analytics, or related technologies
  • Experience in the Professional Services industry is preferred
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience
  • MBA is a plus
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
