Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

What will you be doing?

As the Burn Regional Sales Specialist, you will lead sales efforts across your assigned region, representing our burn care portfolio. Your primary focus will be on Santyl, Acticoat, Versajet, Biobrane, and Oasis. You’ll collaborate closely with regional sales teams and engage with key stakeholders in Burn Units, Trauma departments, Pharmacies, and Operating Rooms.

You’ll develop, communicate, and execute a strategic plan to meet your sales quota. Acting as the primary contact for targeted burn units, you’ll build and nurture relationships with regional Key Opinion Leaders and clinical or administrative personnel. You’ll also participate in key regional and national burn conferences to maintain a strong presence in the burn care community.

Your role includes monitoring market trends to identify unmet needs, contributing to the development of marketing materials and sales programs, and supporting the adoption of our burn care portfolio—especially the core growth brands. You’ll also have opportunities to lead corporate business projects and provide customer insights to inform new product development.

What will you need to be successful?

To thrive in this role, you should bring 5–7+ years of relevant sales or sales management experience in the medical device industry, particularly in acute care settings with complex sales processes and multiple call points including the OR and Pharmacy. Experience calling on Burn Units or Burn Surgeons is preferred.

You’ll need a proven ability to build and leverage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, along with a track record of successfully introducing new products or technologies to the market. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a history of exceeding sales targets.

A bachelor’s degree is required (or equivalent experience), and you must be able to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.

You. Unlimited.
