BrightSign, the global market leader in digital signage media players, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager, who is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales in our Northeast region. As a Regional Sales Manager you should work to satisfy customer’s needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long term client and vendor relationships. This is a technology-centric sales position requiring an ability to grasp and master end-to-end digital signage solutions including: displays, media players, various media data types (video, audio, HTML, JPEG, etc.) hosted cloud services, content management and advertising applications software, networking and security. Therefore, candidates who possess a strong technical AV / digital signage background, in addition to great sales skills will be given first consideration.

  • 8-10 years of business development experience with a well-recognized technology-based sales and marketing driven company, reseller or distributor 
  • Extra consideration given for experience at AV, digital signage, digital advertising, or business solutions product lines 
  • Experience with complex solution selling and major accounts sales and have worked inside companies with highly evolved, hybrid sales models 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and prioritize strategic partnerships, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth and enhance customer engagement 
  • Experience working with complex, multi-tier distribution channels including VAR’s, distributors, dealers, POP Display companies and system integrators 
  • Adept and comfortable with communication channels such as social media and email and can effectively leverage them to establish contact 
  • Good knowledge of sales tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Hoovers, LinkedIn
  • Organized and detail oriented in opportunity tracking and other administrative tasks
  • A genuine excitement for our product and helping our customers bring experiences to life
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory and other USA locations for industry trade shows and company meetings (Estimated 25%)
