Job Description SummaryWe are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager - EMEA to join our Unison team. In this role you will be responsible for selling products and services related to new and existing products or equipment. This can include parts, accessories, maintenance contracts, engineering development and related services.
In addition you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets, owning and influencing commercial/military business operating guidelines and have ownership/influence over revenue and development budgets to meet business needs. Guided by functional policy, there is autonomy within the role to enter into/execute commercial arrangements.
This is a full time remote/home based role with approximately 50% travel in EMEAJob Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sell to account(s) in region, identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop key accounts, and maintain existing customer relationships. 
  • Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external dealers. 
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. 
  • Develop commercial expertise across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
  • Influence policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
  • Manage reports, forecast revenue, and track sales performance. 
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Utilise understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
  • Collaborate with shared services to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
  • Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree and/or Master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Significant experience in commercial aerospace sales is a must
  • Expansive list of customer relationships in assigned region including OEMs, airlines, and aftermarket agencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and internal teams. 
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management. 
  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry product lines and related technical aspects. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Flight Deck/Lean/Kaizen experience.
