Job Description Regional Sales Director, Pacific Northwest

Summary: Develop and direct domestic sales organization to maximize sales volume and revenue for Cardiva Medical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Recruit, Retain and Develop key personnel as needed for strategic execution of objectives as agreed upon by the field leadership team.
  • Assist in design and development of strategic direction for domestic sales programs and policies to assure efficient attainment of corporate sales and profitability objectives.
  • Ensure the sales organization successfully implements and executes the strategies developed by the Company.
  • Continue development and design of US Sales Organization ensuring proper customer coverage in key geographical areas across the country.
  • Manage and coach market development managers, territory managers to achieve territory, department, and company goals.  Specifically, ensure each territory manager demonstrates ability to:
    • Accurately and effectively sell concepts of company products and programs
    • Effectively target key accounts in respective territories
    • Support clinical needs of customers
    • Execute territory strategies
  • Manage and coach Clinical Specialist and Clinical Education Consultants.
  • Establish and maintain direct customer relationships with key customers.
  • Planning and monitoring of regional sales performance, developing quarterly action plans, preparing reports, summaries and analyses.
  • Manage financial planning of the Sales organization including expense compliance, budgets, forecasts, and product pricing.
  • Assist in the design of incentive-based compensation plans with Human Resources to motivate sales personnel to accomplish pre-determined sales objectives.
  • Ensure the sales organization complies with various company policies including trunk stock management, complaint handling, Advamed guidelines for customer interactions, and product training.

Qualifications: 

  • Thorough knowledge of cardiovascular medical device industry, products, and customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales and/or marketing in the medical device industry.
  • Prefer 2 years experience in sales management position or equivalent positions.
  • BA/BS in Business or Science.

Skills: 

  • Proven managerial skills for coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Exceptional selling skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to achieve goals in a team environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills for influencing and motivating both internal staff and outside community (including customers).
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to travel to various geographies as needed to execute on objectives.

Work Environment:

  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

The base salary range for this role is:

$64,512.00-$124,416.00/Annual
