Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Regional Growth Marketing Director is a leadership role responsible for overseeing growth marketing initiatives across the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia regions. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Marketing, this position is accountable for setting and executing the growth marketing vision and strategy for these markets—working closely with sales and market leadership to support organic growth in the South Region.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills to design and deliver remarkable prospective client experiences that drive business growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and communicate the regional growth marketing vision in partnership with the Vice President of Marketing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the overarching regional marketing strategy
  • Serve as an advisor within the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia leadership teams, contributing marketing insights to business strategy and growth decisions.
  • Participate in a broader field growth peer group responsible for driving growth center of excellence standards across the country
  • Collaborate with other South Region marketing leaders to ensure alignment and partnership across all marketing initiatives, driving a seamless and unified approach to client engagement and brand presence, for both B2B and B2C audiences.
     

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor regional growth marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Provide development opportunities and guidance for the growth marketing team that are aligned with business needs
     

Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

  • Set and drive the strategic growth marketing agenda and strategic plans for the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia regions, identifying new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels in close partnership with sales and market leadership.
  • Lead initiatives for market entry, expansion, and competitive differentiation within the region.
  • Conduct market research and audience segmentation to inform strategy and optimize targeting.
     

Integrated Marketing Execution & Innovation

  • Oversee the design and implementation of multi-channel growth marketing campaigns (digital, content, email, social, event, PR) to generate and nurture leads, accelerate pipeline, and build brand equity.
  • Collaborate with the Client Experience and Financial Services Marketing Leaders to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and deliver a cohesive client experience across practices.
  • Pilot and implement innovative marketing approaches, technologies, and partnerships to keep OneDigital ahead of industry trends.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to industry regulations and OneDigital’s brand standards.
     

Sales Enablement & Business Partnership

  • Develop a deep understanding of the sales process to create marketing strategies that support each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership and producers to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives, accelerating pipeline growth and supporting revenue targets.
  • Design and implement marketing enablement tools and resources to enhance client engagement across all stages of the sales funnel.
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support for key prospect and partnership opportunities, ensuring the effective delivery of OneDigital’s unique value proposition throughout the sales process.
     

Budget & Resource Management

  • Own and manage growth marketing budgets, making high-level investment decisions to maximize ROI and business impact.
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed.
     

Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting

  • Leverage analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) to track campaign performance, measure impact, and inform strategy.
  • Regularly report on key performance metrics, campaign outcomes, and marketing impact to market leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA or related) strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive B2B and B2C marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (senior manager or above), preferably within employee benefits, insurance, HR, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in leading a marketing team, managing significant budgets, and delivering measurable business growth within a defined region or business unit.
  • Proven ability to set and execute strategic marketing plans and influence key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive MQLs as a result of integrated and digital marketing campaigns in a B2B environment.
  • Expertise in integrated marketing, digital and content strategy, campaign management, and event marketing.
  • Strong proficiency with marketing technologies and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and content management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding executive communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing leadership.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Must be available for 10-20% monthly travel as needed

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
