As our Events Coordinator, you'll support the Events Manager in planning, organizing, and executing events, ensuring smooth operations and participant satisfaction. You’ll plan and execute one regional field event per month, and offer support for two major industry conferences.
This is a short term (4 month) contract role. Remote within the US. The pay rate for this role will be $24-$40/hour, 30-40 hours per week. Travel for this role is optional, and limited to one event per month depending on interest and availability.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate travel and accommodations for event participants
- Source locations and ideas for events of all sizes
- Assist with budget management and tracking expenses
- Support vendor negotiations and maintain vendor relationships
- Manage attendee registration and send timely reminders for travel planning
- Help create and maintain event logistics and timelines
- Coordinate logistical elements including venue confirmations, travel, and check-in processes
- Assist with event setup and provide crucial onsite support
- Help troubleshoot issues as they arise with a calm, solution-focused approach
- Compile post-event reports with attendance numbers and feedback
- Send internal communications like Slack messages and email reminders
- Support the Events Manager in making each event successful from planning to execution
- 3-5 years of event coordination experience, with experience handling large events required
- Spreadsheet expertise for tracking and organizing event details
- A problem-solving mindset that thrives under pressure
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Experience supporting B2B sales teams (beneficial)
