ABOUT UNBOUNDED

We are a team of former classroom teachers, district and school leaders, curriculum writers, and education experts unified by our desire to see every student thrive in school.

Our commitment to every learner unites us. UnboundEd works side-by-side with teachers, coaches, principals, and district leaders to ensure every student has access to grade-level, engaging, affirming, and meaningful — GLEAM™ — instruction. By cultivating the mindsets, knowledge, and skills at the heart of truly transformative teaching and learning, we can break the predictability of historic achievement patterns so all kids thrive.

In 2023, UnboundEd joined forces with Pivot Learning and CORE Learning to expand our offerings and drive long-needed changes in instruction, especially in the highest-need schools.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Partnerships, the Regional Director is a customer-facing role responsible for cultivating new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and promoting high-quality program engagements. This position requires occasional travel (up to 40%) to support customer meetings, conferences, and events.

This role is critical in UnboundEd’s sales strategy: qualifying leads, generating opportunities, and advancing them through the sales cycle. The Regional Director is ideal for an educator, consultative sales professional, or customer-focused leader eager to grow as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team. As a Regional Director, your work directly shapes educators' professional learning experiences, ensuring that students—particularly those historically underserved—receive the high-quality instruction they deserve.

This role requires a successful track record of quota attainment exceeding $2 million annually and is critical to UnboundEd’s sales strategy: actively prospecting, qualifying leads, generating pipeline, and closing complex district-level opportunities across the sales cycle.

UnboundEd is a virtual organization, and this exempt position can be based anywhere in the United States. UnboundEd has core business hours, during which we expect all staff to be available from 9 am to 5 pm local time.

  • Deliver high-quality interactions that create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build trust and serve as a valued partner to schools and districts.
  • Develop expertise in all UnboundEd programs to recommend relevant professional learning solutions.
  • Actively listen, assess needs, and propose the best-fit services.
  • Lead customer meetings and strategies that drive engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and impact.
  • Stay current on industry trends through conferences, research, internal training, and professional learning.

Requirements

Location:

  • Remote (United States). We welcome candidates from across the country with experience building strong relationships with school and district leaders. Candidates from the Northeast or Mid-America regions preferred.
