CLA is currently seeking a Regional Director to join our East Region in our Wealth Advisory Practice in either our Orlando, Tampa or Charlotte locations.

  • Coaching advisors to ensure that they are driving net new AUM in the markets, while also capturing the seamless opportunities within our CLA Tax, Audit and Outsourcing practices.

  • Reviewing Advisor books of businesses for Quality and resource management

  • Recommend advisor compensation given their results and quality elements

  • Expanding capacity through strategic hiring and talent development

  • Building a performance culture rooted in accountability

You’ll serve as the bridge between local market insights and national Wealth strategy—ensuring regional execution is aligned, consistent, and future‑forward.

Operational & Regulatory Rigor

  • Strengthen the operational foundation needed for scalable growth.

  • Ensure flawless adherence to fiduciary, regulatory, and risk standards.

What You Bring 

  • 10 years of relevant financial services or wealth advisory experience required

  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and supervising financial professionals with AUM accountability

  • Strong background in financial planning, investment management, and client advisory.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

  • Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 24, and 65 licenses required (or equivalent registrations) – Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation preferred

Location

Presence in strategic, high‑opportunity markets like Orlando, Tampa and Charlotte are strongly preferred. Frequent travel to regional offices up and down the east coast is required.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in California is: $197,000 - $303,000
