About the Team

Turo is seeking a highly motivated and customer focused Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As the foundation of our organization, we believe that attracting and hiring world class talent is paramount to Turo's continued success. The Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in this mission by ensuring an exceptional and professional experience for every candidate throughout the hiring lifecycle. This position requires strong administrative acumen, impeccable organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting a high-volume, dynamic recruiting environment.

What You'll Do
  • Candidate Experience Management: Ensure all candidates receive a consistently professional, world-class interview experience from initial contact through to the offer stage.

  • Interview Scheduling & Logistics: Efficiently manage and execute a high volume of complex interview scheduling across multiple time zones, involving virtual and potential onsite interviews with candidates, hiring teams, senior leadership, and executives.

  • Onsite Interview Facilitation: For onsite events, coordinate logistics, manage candidate reception, and actively ensure interview schedules are adhered to and running on time.

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain data integrity and manage candidate progression within our ATS (Workday), ensuring timely communication and accurate records.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Facilities, HR) to facilitate a seamless transition for successful candidates into the new hire process.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to opportunities for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment coordination function.

Your Profile
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer-service-oriented role.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, demonstrated through effective scheduling, documentation, and follow-through.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure.

  • High proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Demonstrated polished, articulate, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for interfacing with senior leaders, executives, and external candidates.

  • A strong commitment to collaboration and providing superior internal and external customer service.

  • Prior experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Workday or similar platforms.

Bonus if You Have
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting coordination role, preferably within a corporate or high-growth technology environment.

  • Direct experience with HR/Recruiting technology platforms such as Workday, GoodTime, Coderpad, or similar tools.

Compensation

For this role, the target base salary range in Phoenix is $25/hour. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.

In Office Requirements

Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
