Step is looking for our next Recruiting Coordinator to manage the day-to-day details that keep our recruiting engine running smoothly and ensure a great experience for every candidate. You'll be a key representative of Step's recruiting process — supporting candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. In this role, you will:- Own end-to-end interview scheduling across multiple time zones and complex panel interviews
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a warm, responsive, and professional experience throughout the process
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep requisitions, pipelines, and interview feedback organized and on track
- Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience
- Coordinate candidate travel and expenses
- 3+ years scheduling or coordination experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks
- Adaptable and able to shift gears at a moment's notice
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Interested to grow your career in recruiting
- Familiarity with Greenhouse
- An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality — you act as an owner and move with urgency
Location: Remote or San Mateo, CA, with occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings
Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
