WE OFFER: 

  • Compensation: $27.50 Hourly Fixed Rate  
  • Team Culture: Join a collaborative, fast-paced team that values independency, accountability, and supporting each other to achieve high-volume recruiting success. 
  • Work Environment: Remote within Houston, TX area 
  • If Hybrid: Should look like: (2 Days in office in Mendota Heights, MN)

  • If Remote BUT need to come into an office: Verbiage: This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in CA, CO, CT, IN, KY, LA, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, TX, WA, WI.  
  • Work Schedule: Typically, 8 AM - 5 PM (Timezone)  some travel required for Hiring Events – Note how much travel

Job Description

What You Get To Do: 

Join Dungarvin’s Talent Acquisition team and play a vital role in connecting great people to meaningful work. As a TA Specialist, you’ll manage a high-volume requisition load, build strong candidate and hiring manager relationships, and deliver a stellar experience at every step of the process. 

You’ll own recruitment for DSP and ancillary roles within your market and may also support Program Manager/Director and other regional needs as assigned. From sourcing to offer, you’ll partner with hiring managers and HR to make smart, timely hires that fuel our mission. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, career sites, hiring events, referrals, and creative outreach. 
  • Screen and evaluate talent, checking references and aligning motivators with business needs. 
  • Build and maintain an active, searchable pipeline in SmartRecruiters with smart tagging and talent community tools. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, offering insights on roadblocks like compensation, skills, and sourcing tactics. 
  • Represent Dungarvin at career fairs, networking, and community events to build awareness and attract talent. 
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as a true brand ambassador.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE: 

  • Expertise & Education: 1+ year of focused high-volume recruiting experience and a bachelor’s degree. Or a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience. 
  • Recruiting Expertise: Proven experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring hourly workforces with a strong understanding of high-volume recruitment processes and strategies. 
  • Job Board & Sourcing Platform Expertise: Proficiency with job boards and sourcing platforms, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, etc.   
  • Applicant Tracking & Collaboration Tools: Skilled in HRIS systems like Workday, SmartRecruiters, and other ATS platforms; experienced with Microsoft Teams and virtual meeting tools like Zoom and GoToMeeting. 
  • Microsoft 365 & Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint   

NICE TO HAVE: 

  • Industry Experience: Prior experience working within Healthcare, Social Services, Retail, Manufacturing, hospitality, etc.  
  • Highly Valed Background: Prior staffing agency experience is a significant advantage

  • Data & Tech-Savvy: Leverages ATS platforms, Microsoft 365, sourcing tools, and reporting dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to streamline recruiting processes, analyze pipeline metrics, and drive data-informed hiring decisions. 
  • Remote-Ready & Self-Disciplined: Stay productive in a condensed schedule, manage time intentionally, and remain fully engaged during working hours.
