Who You Are
You are a motivated, analytical professional who is passionate about independent thinking and problem-solving. You excel at understanding and interpreting risk and have experience with data analysis, predictive analytics, and reporting. You are a self-motivated problem solver and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will own a transformational road map and have 100% accountability to execute.

What You'll Do

  • Credit Policy & Strategy Development: Support the design, testing, and refinement of credit strategies, underwriting rules, and decisioning models across consumer and/or commercial lending portfolios.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct deep-dive analyses on credit performance, borrower behavior, and portfolio trends using SQL and Python.
  • Risk Monitoring: Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor credit risk metrics, delinquency, loss rates, and profitability.
  • Experimentation & Testing: Partner with product and operations teams to execute A/B tests and measure the impact of new credit policies, marketing strategies, or borrower segments.
  • Model Support: Collaborate with data science teams to integrate new risk models and ensure alignment with credit policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, risk committees, and cross-functional teams.
  • Process Automation: Build automated workflows and analytical tools to improve efficiency in reporting and decision-making.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering or related quantitative fields
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in analytical projects and reporting, preferably in the Financial Services industry
  • Understanding of retail and small business loan products, preferably unsecured loans and credit cards
  • Understanding of profitability drivers for loan and credit card products, including interest rate structure, cost of funds, operating expenses, fees, and loss
  • Familiarity with credit strategies, risk, and pricing is preferred. Deep understanding of risk and profitability management for the entire customer life-cycle
  • Proficient with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong stakeholder management experiences
  • Ability to develop roadmaps and prioritize workload
  • Experiences with designing and implementing A/B tests
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communications
