Role Description
The Quality Manager will manage the Quality team, which includes the logistics team. This team supports the Rosenberg production team in ensuring that in-process material and finished product leaving the WireCo plant meets or exceeds internal and external quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as the key Stakeholder of the Quality Management System which operates under ISO 9001 and API Q1
- Run the Business by tracking annual budgets and monthly KPIs, investigating customer complaints and ensuring root cause corrective measures adequately address deficiencies within the production and quality systems
- Improve the Business by ensuring new products and processes are deployed successfully, identify key technological improvements to improve first-pass yield while reducing downtime, and accelerate process refinements that result in improved product performance in the field
- Regularly work with Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Corporate Engineering, Procurement, and other functional groups to address risks and opportunities for the WireCo Business
- Act as the liaison to internal and external suppliers to identify non-conformities and solutions in upstream processes
- Represent WireCo in the presence of Customers and End Users, acting with professionalism and proper etiquette, while utilizing business acumen to solve problems and offer solutions
- Drive the use of WireCo’s OpEx Pillars to document Problem Solving and measure the effectiveness of solutions
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has supervisory responsibilities for the logistics team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Engineering or 3-5 years of Quality Engineering work experience
- Project Management skills or PMP certification
- Budgeting and financial experience
- Safety-focused actions at all times in the workplace
- Superior computer skills, with abilities to easily navigate MS Office Suite, with a particular focus on PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with ERP Systems, data extraction, and data analysis
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts around VSM, 5S, 5Why, 8D, and Rapid Problem-Solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with employees ranging from the production floor to executive management
- Leadership skills to develop a workforce through reward and recognition, coaching, and corrective action
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and react to changing and heightened priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Background
- QMS Management Experience – ISO 9001 and/or API Q1 preferred
- Quality System Internal Auditor experience
- 3-5 years of Management/Supervisory experience
Materials and Equipment Directly Used
- Standard office equipment including computer, mouse, keyboard, telephone, multifunction copier
- Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
