A Day in the LifeA Day in The Life Of:
- As part of a cross-functional team, provide Quality Engineering input to the product development and post commercialization process
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
- Provide online support during design and/or validation builds with emphasis on production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality
- Function effectively as part of cross functional teams; develop strong partnering relationships within these groups, collaborate and provide constructive feedback and quality leadership
- Support root cause investigations; drive problem solving efforts for quality issues
- Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable departments, site-wide procedures, and regulations
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum Level 7 Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline with a minimum of 1-year relevant direct Science/Engineering experience within medical device environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Practical working knowledge of statistical data analysis, problem solving and quality improvement tools and techniques preferable
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and to take initiative is essential
- Effective time management skills
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with others; shows respect and consideration for others
